The MSRA's premier squash event is the Hyder Trophy Tournament, the longest continually-running softball squash tournament in North America. The weekend is full of activities, including amateur and pro draws and a Saturday night party. Matches will be held at several of New York City's finest squash clubs, including the Sports Club/LA, The Harvard Club, The Yale Club and the Princeton Club.

The 2009 Hyder attracted a record 212 squash players from pros to novices. Many draws filled up early, so sign up now.

Amateur Draw Information
Early Entry Fee (by Apr 27): US Squash members $85, Non-members $100
Late Entry Fee: US Squash members $100, Non-members $115
Draws Close: Monday May 10, 6pm (note: draws may fill early)
Skill Levels: Men: 6.0, 5.5, 5.0, 4.5, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0, 60+, 70+
Women: 5.0, 4.0, 3.0
Schedule: Match play begins Friday May 15 at 5pm. Play continues Saturday and Sunday.

Entry fee includes admission to pro draws, player gift, and Saturday night party with open bar.
   
Pro Draw Information
Tournament Structure: Single elimination (no consos), best of 5 games, scored to 11 points.
PSA points and draw restrictions will not apply.
Purse: $7500, plus any amounts from the pro draw reservation fee
Payout: Winner $2500, Finalist, $1500, Semi-finalists $1000, Quarter finalists $375
Schedule:

Thursday May 13: 1st round at Sports Club/LA. Two matches each at 6pm, 7pm, 8pm and 9pm
Friday May 14: Quarter-final round play at various clubs (7pm)
Saturday May 15: Semi-final round play at Sports Club/LA (5pm, 6pm), followed by party
Sunday May 16: Finals at Sports Club/LA (12pm)
Reservation Fee: $25. Fee used to reserve player place in draw and all amounts collected will be added to the overall purse and distributed on a pro-rata basis.
